Scream Screen hosted by Theresa Mercado returns for its fifteenth run at the Sie FilmCenter with a new series, HELL ON WHEELS happening every Friday in February at 9:30pm featuring some of the best in automotive terror on two, four and ten wheels!

2/7: PSYCHOMANIA (aka: THE DEATH WHEELERS) (1973) D: Don Sharp. With a pre-show presentation by vintage British motorcycle enthusiast & collector Bryan Flanagan! The Living Dead are a delinquent biker gang, fond of causing havoc on on British roadways and making out in graveyards. Gang leader Tom also has a Satanist for a mother, and when he discovers the secret of immortality, the name of his motley crew takes on a more literal meaning…

2/14: CRASH (1996) D: David Cronenberg. ON 35MM!! With Vicious Valentine’s Day party in the Henderson-Withey Lounge before the feature!! Based on the J.G. Ballard novel. After getting into a serious car accident, a TV director (James Spader) discovers an underground sub-culture of scarred, car-crash victims whose kink is getting into car accidents and the raw sexual energy they produce.

2/21: SORCERER (1977) D: William Friedkin. From the director of THE EXORCIST, four unfortunate men from different parts of the globe agree to risk their lives transporting gallons of nitroglycerin across dangerous South American jungle. Starring Roy Scheider (JAWS) and Bruno Cremer. A big-screen must see!

2/28: DEAD END DRIVE-IN (1986) with director Brian Trenchard-Smith IN-PERSON! Set in a near-future where the economy as crumbled and violent gangs play havoc in the streets, the powers-that-be have decided to lure delinquent youth into drive-in theaters and keep them there forever. No longer just a place to watch trashy movies, show off your wheels and make out, these outdoor picture shows have become concentration camps for the unruly and unwanted.
